Shizen
Inspired by the quiet beauty of Japan, Shizen captures the harmony of nature through soft blues and greens, layered with expressive brushwork and bold vermillion accents of authentic handmade Japanese Yuzen (origami) paper. Its fluid composition evokes a tranquil, watery landscape, while a delicate gold line—a nod to kintsugi, the art of embracing imperfection—adds a touch of grace and depth. This piece invites reflection, celebrating the elegance found in nature’s organic forms, and the beauty of things made whole again.
